PRIVACY POLICY FOR JKRDASH (JKR SARAWAK PROJECT DASHBOARD)

JKRDash is a project monitoring and reporting dashboard exclusively developed for the use of JKR Sarawak and Sarawak State Government officials. The app is fully managed and governed by the Sarawak Civil Service Digitalisation Unit (SCSDU) under the Sarawak State Government. This Privacy Policy outlines the handling, storage, and usage of data within the app.

1. Scope of Application

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the JKRDash app, including members of the public, authorized personnel of JKR Sarawak, and Sarawak State Government officials. By accessing or using the app, users agree to adhere to the terms set forth in this Privacy Policy.

The app provides services and features accessible to public users while maintaining restricted access for features designated for authorized personnel and government officials.

2. Data Collection

The app collects only the data required for user authentication, project monitoring, and reporting purposes, including:

• User credentials (e.g., username and password) for secure access.
• Project-related information such as progress status updates and reports.
• System logs for auditing and security purposes.

No personal data unrelated to official functions is collected by the app.

3. Data Usage

All data collected by the JKRDash app is used exclusively for:

• Monitoring and managing infrastructure projects under JKR Sarawak.
• Enhancing operational efficiency and transparency.
• Ensuring system security and compliance with government regulations.

The data is not shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties without prior authorization from the Sarawak State Government.

4. Data Security

The Sarawak Civil Service Digitalisation Unit (SCSDU) implements robust security measures to protect user data, including:

• Encryption of data during storage and transmission.
• Regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Restricted access to data, limited to authorized personnel only.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

5. User Access Control

The JKRDash app provides different levels of access based on user type:

• Guest Access: Public users can access and view tender information without registering or logging in. Guest access is limited to features intended for public viewing only.
• Registered Access: Users seeking to access additional features, such as submitting tenders, managing projects, or receiving notifications, are required to register an account. Registration is subject to review and approval by the JKRS to ensure secure and appropriate access.
• User Data Management: Registered users have the ability to manage their personal data within the app, including updating their account details or deleting their account if they no longer wish to use the app. Account deletion will permanently remove user data from the platform.
• Account Management by JKRS: While users can manage their accounts, all user registrations and access levels are subject to review and oversight by the JKRS. The JKRS reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or delete user accounts to maintain the app’s security and compliance.

6. Retention of Data

Data stored within the JKRDash app is retained in accordance with Sarawak State Government policies and regulations. It is securely deleted when no longer required.

7. User Rights

Authorized users may:

• Report any technical issues or data discrepancies to the SCSDU.
• Request clarification on how their data is used and stored.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

The Sarawak State Government reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy as necessary. Users will be notified of significant changes through official channels.
